Everest Re executed a “precise and well-orchestrated” reinsurance renewal strategy that has “significantly improved” risk-adjusted returns across its entire portfolio after the 1 January renewals, president and CEO Juan Andrade said.

This came as the company revealed a 4.1-percentage-point improvement to its combined ratio to hit 87.8% for Q4 2022.
