LCM ‘didn’t raise any new funds’ at 1.1: CUO Gregory

Lancashire CUO Paul Gregory has said on its earnings call that investor fatigue in ILS had become “somewhat worse” in the year preceding the 1 January renewal, such that the firm “decided not to do a raise” for its Lancashire Capital Management (LCM) unit.

“The first of January, which has historically been the time when we’ve done our biggest raise, we didn’t raise any new funds,” Gregory said.
