The World Bank's Chile quake catastrophe bond has become the first ILS to list on the Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX), as the domicile set out its aspiration to be a leading global centre for insurance risk transfer.

The issuance has raised $350mn of earthquake cover for Chile, triggering on a parametric, per-occurrence basis.
