The Hanover has launched a new Commonwealth Re cat-bond deal, seeking $125mn of indemnity, per-occurrence coverage for named storm across 13 states in the US Northeast, this publication understands.

The coverage is for Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.
