Pricing tightens and size expands on Twia’s Alamo Re cat bond

Pricing has tightened on the Texas Windstorm Association’s (Twia) Alamo Re catastrophe bond to 700-725 basis points (bps), as the issuance upsized to $185mn from an initial $150mn target.

Twia is seeking Class A cover for named storm and severe thunderstorm in Texas.

The updated pricing, which has tightened from initial, wider guidance of 675-725bps, gives a multiplier of 2.6x
